No.206 mound (Oninoiwaya Tumulus) of Saitobaru Burial Mounds

The last tomb of a chieftain that can be found in the Saitobaru Burial Mounds. This is a round mounded tomb with a diameter of 36 meters which was constructed in the final stage of the Kofun period. It is characterized by an outer perimeter of double moats around the kofun and tall earthen mounds. The stone megalith burial facility is a corridor-style stone chamber with a horizontal lateral entrance (the interior is open to the public). Seasonal flowers bloom around the tomb.
